Long established Linden-Center is the dominant shopping destination and social hub of the rapidly growing Hohenschönhausen distric of Berlin.
The centre benefits from a densely populated immediate catchment of 57,000 inhabitants, high footfall and sales density. Two thirds of customers visit this grocery and daily goods anchored centre at least weekly. With its attractive department store, consumer electronics and fashion offer it draws from a wider catchment of 825,000.
The Investment Strategy
- The sector and tenant mix has been optimised through over 60 leasing transactions
- Attractive retailers have been newly introduced to the centre, including TK Maxx. The grocery and daily goods offer has been strengthened through a take over of the supermarket unit by REWE and extensions of the dm and Rossmann drugstore units
- Leases with the department store Kaufhof and electronics retailer Media Markt have been prolonged
